Sand is inspired by Japanese Zen gardens. It comes in a calm beige colour that matches the name of the mat beautifully. The three-dimensional pattern is both tactile and meditative, creating a calm atmosphere by your doorstep.

”The mats aren’t just environmentally friendly because they are recycled, but their high quality ensures a long life. Then it’s up to me to create a design that makes the customer want to use it for the same amount of time.”

Even though it was very expensive. I love it
This doormat ended up being way better than I thought it would be. It's sturdy, stylish, and easy to care for, and somehow it matches the rest of my home decor, even though it's outside. :)
Will definitely buy a second piece in the near future.
The Sand doormat is really lovely! I placed it inside my front door. I had looked at runners, but they would require an additional mat underneath, and they never seem to lie flat. The Sand doormat is lined, making it waterproof and slip proof. And it’s a good weight so it stays where you put it! Very happy with this purchase. It’s something I see everyday!
This is our second heymat. We have the small size for summer & just purchased the larger for winter, so there is sufficient room for guests to take their shoes off when entering our home. We have a minimal home with mid century modern furniture. This rug fits the space great. It is very heavy & durable. It only requires occasional vacuuming.
This is my second Heymat purchase. Cleaning up after a sick dog was as easy as hosing the Heymat down, scrubbing it with soap and rinsing. Air dried in sunshine and it was brand new. I now have a Heymat positioned in every outside entry into the house. It is worth the investment for pets and all they do including do do!
