Tekla Evelina Severin
Tekla Evelina Severin is both a colourist and interior architect, and one of the design world’s brightest stars, famous for her strong colour compositions and graphically playful, often monochrome, expression. For Heymat, Tekla has designed the colour palette for a new version of Mix, first launched in 2016 and designed by Kristine Five Melvær. With references to the colour palette of the 1970s, precious stones and the Mediterranean, Tekla has created a contemporary scale of earth tone pastels that welcome you home.
Tekla Evelina Severin has a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture and furniture design, and is best known for her striking work with colours. Based in Stockholm, she takes on a range of commissions and switches roles between photographer, art director, interior architect, stage designer and colourist. She was recently described by the German AD as one of the most influential people in the design industry today, and by Dezeen as one of the 10 best architectural photographers in the world
